Mission: What is The Prayer Place?

The Prayer Place is established for the practice and education/training of Christian prayer.

It is an all-inclusive Christian ministry to build up the body of Christ in Meridian and the surrounding areas through all aspects of prayer.

THE PRAYER PLACE IS DEDICATED TO

• Providing a “get-away” place for Christian meditation, soaking prayer, and intercession
  
• Being a training center for Christian healing prayer, as well as all aspects of prayer
• Hosting small group studies in prayer as well as all aspects of living a healthy spiritual life based on the teachings of Jesus Christ and Scripture
• Facilitating training of prayer ministers for The Prayer Place and other entities as requested

OUR VISION INCLUDES

• Building a network of neighborhood intercessors (as in Nehemiah, people stationed to stand guard in prayer for their families and their neighborhood)
• Encouraging intercessors to have “Walking Together” comrades (a group of 3 or 4 max) for mutual encouragement and accountability, helping to stay focused on growth and spiritual maturity
• Equipping every street in Meridian to have prayer coverage by a group of intercessors working in conjunction with local churches
